Wild Spaces for Workplaces
Helping workspaces create restorative garden spaces where staff can reconnect with nature. A key element of the Tended Earth approach is the co-creation of gardens - staff are encouraged to get involved with planting and caring for their Wild Space. This shared process nurtures connection, teamwork, and a sense of collective ownership. Each Wild Space is thoughtfully designed to bring natural living beauty into the workplace, boosting biodiversity, enhancing well-being, and fostering creativity and resilience. By inviting nature into the workplace, we create spaces that restore both people and place.

Indicative Cost
The cost of co-creating a Wild Space within a workplace depends on the size and condition of the selected site. In an effort to reduce waste and costs, each garden is designed to incorporate existing landscaping elements, such as raised beds and/or pots. As a guide, an underused 25-40 sq. metre courtyard can be transformed into a restorative garden for staff well-being and biodiversity for $10-18K. Larger or more complex sites (e.g. requiring irrigation, paving removal, etc) range from $20-30K.
