Tended Earth supports hands-on learning and seeks to provide work experience for Horticultural students who are interested in community/open-space/educational projects that boost biodiversity and create habitat.

A young person (Horticultural TAFE student) wearing sunglasses, a black hoodie, and camouflage pants kneels among large leafy plants in a garden, holding a white bucket with a handle. They are smiling at the camera.

Tended Earth works collaboratively with the local community to create beautiful wild gardens. For some projects, there will be funding for labour. This work will be offered to Horticultural Students (studying or freshly graduated) who would like to gain professional work experience. Applicants will need their own ABN, and will need to get themselves to the site (located primarily in Merri-bek).
